Getting back on track...

Hello everyone. Since I hadn't been updating my blog so long, now it seems like I have to catch-up it back. The reason why is because this blog was used for my Online Journalism subject in last semester. As my result has been announced officially, so it's time for me to get back on track.
     Speaking about my result recently, what I can summarize is it's quite satisfied enough. No doubt, it was the toughest semester that I've been for my degree years so far. Without hiding, I got B in all subjects except Statistics, which was the most non-favorite subject, with only an exact C. If there were a few silly mistakes done more, maybe I have to repeat it and couldn't proceed my internship sooner.
      In silence, there are only two weeks left before the internship starts-off. In the meantime, I was quite curious of why there is no any call made from the applied-companies. This makes me worried, as I have to find a new rental house to stay if the company is far away from my home.
      Hopefully I can get the feedback at least this week, and same goes with my friends too. Somehow, I don't want to put too-much hope on it, or it will disappoint me back instead. That's all and good night.  

Two different murders, but using the same method in the case...

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone. The last time I updated my blog was in previous August and I am back for a new blog setup of mine. The reason why this blog needs to be renovated is because some of the pictures on my old blog were not synchronized properly anymore. More current issues will be updated time-after-time afterwards. Insyallah. 

    I think most of the Malaysians have already known about the detention of a 35-year-old Indonesian security guard, who got implicated with the case of murdering a 37-year-old Ambank officer, Nurazita Abu Talib, on previous 23 October 2013 at its branch in Subang Jaya when she was shot into her head. The incident happened when she was alone opening the vault to make a check inside it, before she died. Eventually, after 20 days of escaping away, the savage guard was arrested by the police at Kampung Belungkor, Kota Tinggi, Johor as he tried to run away back to his native country. 

     The guard Laode Ardina Laode Rasilah, who changed his name to "Ardi Hamzah" with a fake identity card, was believed fleeing RM450,000 away. However, the police still did not find any of the loot on him when he was arrested. By only recovering RM20,000 found on three family members of the suspect, including his wife who was also detained. Another mastermind, 'Joemar' who is also an Indonesian, is tracked by the police too to help the investigation smoother. 

       Another case of shooting happened in Kuantan, Pahang, whereby Ahmad Rafli Abdul Malik, 49, who is working at Pahang Islamic Religious Department as an enforcement officer, was shot dead by an unknown murderer in a close-distance at his home. The motive of the murder is because of revenge over Rafli for being disenchantment, probably done by a particular heresy group, as Rafli possibly did a strict action on the group during his enforcement.

     Some of the reports were alleging that this case was getting involved with 'Tuhan Harun', which is a heresy group founded by 47-year-old Harun Mat Saad, who had been subdued by Rafli himself as he led the raid on April 4 this year. Harun, also had been listed as among Bank Negara's most wanted individuals for his fault in a get-rich-quick scheme with illegal deposit involving up to RM200 million. Harun also was believed cheating some recording artists as he claimed himself as a music composer as well, fleeing a thousand-amount of cash after dealing with them as they agreed to perform at his event. One of his events, Konsert Malam Seribu Karya Rock Rohani, had been organized in 2009 at Melawati Stadium, Shah Alam. 

       From these two cases, I can see that some of the people have started daring themselves to kill others as one of the easiest ways to release their anger. Revenge, robbery, dissatisfaction and so on can be the motives of why this thing keeps happening. Whatever it is, please be careful when we want to go anywhere, and it would be a big reminder for me too. What Is GST? 

GST, also known as value-added tax (VAT) in many countries, is a multi-stage consumption tax on goods and services. It is more effective, efficient, transparent and business-friendly, and could spur economic growth, as well as increase competitiveness in the global market. GST is capable of generating a more stable source of revenue for the nation because it is less susceptible to economic fluctuations. 

Why GST?

GST is proposed to replace the current consumption tax such as sales tax and service tax. 

Why Do We Have To Pay GST? 

We need to pay tax so that the government can operate. GST is one method of collecting taxes, which works better than others. 

What Will GST Be Levied Or Charged On? 

GST will be levied and charged on the taxable supply of goods and services made in the course or furtherance of business in Malaysia by a taxable person. GST is also charged on the importation of goods and services. GST is to be levied and charged on the value of the supply 

When Will GST Be Imposed? 

GST can only be levied and charged if the business is registered under GST. A business is not liable to be registered if its annual turnover of taxable supplies does not reach the prescribed threshold. Therefore, such businesses cannot charge and collect GST on the supply of goods and services made to customers. Nevertheless, businesses can apply to be registered voluntarily. 

How Many Countries Are Imposing GST/VAT? 

More than 160 countries are now imposing GST/VAT worldwide.

such as rice, sugar, salt, flour, cooking oil, lentils, salted fish, herbs and spices.

4. Government services

such as the issuance of passports, licenses, health services and education

Getting married early? A trend, culture or religion-obligation?

    Until now, I couldn't remember and count how many of my friends that have gotten married recently. Even me also got so many wedding invitations here and there to be attended. Somehow, we have to believe to a well-said that is always being mentioned especially the elders. If there's a match written for us, he/she will be our match sooner or later. That's it. 

     Speaking about getting married, the most important thing that we always need and say it more and more is money. It's no doubt and no compulsively need to make a research or survey on a sample of groups discussing about this, because most all of them 100% will answer "Why I didn't get married yet? because my money is still not enough. Why I didn't get married yet? because my money is still not adequate. Why I didn't get married yet? because my financial is not too-vulnerable, not too-secured yet to get married" and so on and so on. Once again, no need to repeat that money is becoming our necessary lifeline to keep us alive. Furthermore when all the basic necessities are getting super-expensive and the cost of living is getting higher and higher time-after-time. I was like always wondering alone, if I feel like everything is not enough when I was single, how about when I've gotten married soon? I think not only myself, but many people at the outside also think this same question too.         

      Actually, I would like to relate that financial-dilemma with these some youngsters' phenomenon, who are in favor to get married early and cause it as a good deed to do. Getting married early is actually wiser to be done, for escaping from doing sinful-things, saving the lineage, being more matured and responsible at the young age and can get birth and could witness their children growing-up properly. Yes indeed, all these are the advantages of getting married early. But, how much far it's being-followed by them? as a trend, culture or religion-obligation? 

     Let's say if some of their parents are so affordable to support them to get married, I think it's going to be alright then and don't deny for it. Well, big possibility it can be happened to those who practice the elite or luxury lifestyle, and of course the financial-dilemma is not a big trouble for them. From foods, beverages, dowries, proposals, best-men, brides-maids and bridal dais are fully supported and there's nothing to be fretted about. It automatically reminds me with the youngest marriage ever that had been made by Mohd Syafiq, 16 and his 14-year-old wife Yana, who spectacularly unleashed throughout mainstream and alternative media last year although both of them were still schooling together. Indeed, getting married can be as one of the trend-setters, even I wasn't too-shocked anymore when those youngsters got married at this age.

     Can it be as a culture? This is going to be absolutely yes, even most of parents did that. If not, I won't be grown-up now. If we look at it back, getting married early is actually started by our culture in a previous thousand years before, from a generation to another generation. In my opinion, their old-time life wasn't so bad if want to be compared with ours nowadays. Everything was cheaper and everybody was so affordable in getting necessities on that time. Their wage also wasn't higher, but they still can survive. The basic salary of RM1,500 that is hired for the fresh-graduates in today's world-career, obviously can be considered as enough for a whole family. The rental-payments, children's school and tuition fees, and groceries are exactly  adequate with that amount. But now? I bet you guys can guess it and don't get weird if some people today love to become 'spinsters' and don't want to get married early. Not because of they didn't have a lust, but because of money, money and money. See? Isn't it related ? 

     Last but not list, is getting married early being done because too obeying to religion or else? Precisely, This is going to be yes too for me, and no doubt, all those pious men and women are encouraged to do it if they have found their suitable match. Just like in the story of Aishah R.A, whom was one of Prophet's wives when she got married at age 9 (if I'm not mistaken) with him. Those religion-lovers are more encouraged to do reward (pahala) and not thinking too-much about lifestyle after getting married. For them, just be moderate comfortably without showing it off to others. This automatically reminds me once again to this one of Prophet Muhammad's wise-words which is "a wisest marriage comes from the cheapest dowry and easiest marriage". Not only that, it also reminds me of a story about a Prophet's friend who wants to get married and he has nothing at all as to be proposed as a dowry. Then, Prophet asked him what is the thing that he had for the dowry, and he answered he's only gotten a metal ring. Afterwards, Prophet said that would be nice and well-enough to be proposed as a dowry. Simple isn't it? 

     Somehow, when we officially are pronounced as a legal husband and wife, the responsibility will be much heavier than before. Nafqah, which to be internal and external side, is compulsory for us to pay it. And in the same time, I'm always listened if we have gotten married, our rezeki will be coming so much. Is that so ? Well perhaps only those who got married can answer it. Congratulations to all my friends who have done it and just wait for my turn. When? Maybe seven years from now? Just pray for it.  

Tanda Putera, one of the historical movies that shouldn't be missed...

As the Independence Day is going to be one more day left tomorrow, all the Malaysians can start to feel it before the real celebration kicks-off by watching Shuhaimi Baba's new movie "Tanda Putera". Premiered in all nationwide cinemas starting on 29 August 2013, in my opinion, this movie should be watched by all people especially youngsters to appreciate and be more grateful of what we have achieved today. Just put aside all the political sentiments and enjoy it as one of the historical occurrences that we all need to know that happened in a very-very long time ago. I had been watching this movie last April at DATC, UiTM during its opening premier for my assignment and I think it's going to be a right time for me to suggest it.

      This movie tells about the racism-tragedy that happened on 13th May 1969, and also a strong friendship between our Second Prime Minister, Tun Abdul Razak (acted by Rusdi Ramli) and his Deputy Prime Minister Tun Dr. Ismail (Zizan Nin) at that time. Both of them who have a chronic disease, in which Tun Razak diagnosed leukemia meanwhile Tun Ismail diagnosed heart attack, are compulsively keeping it in secret as they also have to face a biggest problem that struck Malaysia at the same time. Therefore, both of them hire Dr. Macpherson (Ali Steven Shorthose) and make Tun Ismail's reading room as their personal clinic in reason to seal it from their family. 

     On the another scene, Zara (Ika Nabila) and her other friends also not miss getting involved into the condition accidentally. Studying at Universiti Malaya (UM), they are also struggling around to escape from the people's rebellion, massacring, killing, shooting and slaughtering each other when Malays met Chinese and so on. The scene really injects a sincere friendship of theirs, as they help each other to keep survived. Hiding inside house in all-night-long, crawling to get into car, and walking slowly to get unknowingly are among scenes that can make us feel more touched. However, there will be some eerie and rough scenes showed including bloody shots, cut-offs and improper behaviors. So, a guidance should be taken especially for underage.

     After knowing his life only can remain within two years, Tun Razak starts to figure out more plans to make Malaysia safer and more developed of its economic and education side, although his best friend passed away and followed-up with National Police Chief's murder at that time, he tries to give all-out of his efforts by binding a diplomatic relationship with Republic of China to weaken the influence of local communist. In a short time, Tun Razak has brought out all the poor people to start living comfortably by getting a proper education and occupation.

     Tun Razak's courage was gloomily ended after he found dead at a hospital in London, while his Malaysian friends were awaiting his youngest son, Nazir to get there to see his father for the last time. Tun Razak was buried at Heroes Mausoleum  near National Mosque, next to Tun Ismail's.

        Overall, this movie is good to be watched for those history-lovers. No need to open a history book to find out what exactly happened because it's already good enough by watching this movie. Have a nice flick and 5 stars from me. 

Surau demolition, is it because the wrong direction of kiblat or devotees' meditation ?

As Muslims around the world are still celebrating Aidilfitri hilariously, the camera-lenses and pens are still eagerly finding some hot issues to be written and viewed on their represented media. So it won't be a thousand of excuses for all of us to not update what is the latest news happening. Therefore, the media still exists to report the cases.

      I am totally sure most of us have known what was happening now in Kota Tinggi, Johor, where this Singaporean resort owner was detained recently to give a few statements to help the authorities to solve this another new religious problem. If before this we had seen a couple of Chinese disregarded by posting a picture of bak kut teh and also a Muslim trainer who had been together with her two dogs of getting prepared for the first Syawal, this phenomenon of religious-sensitive-issue is like back on track continuously.

        Everything started to get tumultuous after one of Youtube users, posting a video within 1.25 seconds of showing a group of Buddhists performed their meditation inside the surau. At the same time, the devotees were reciting the prayers devotedly and repeatedly on their mat. Also shown in the shot was a picture of Buddha statue located exactly at the prayer-leader's space, at front of the hall. There was also a shaman seemed leading the ritual, sitting alongside the picture as well.

This surau has made its own controversial, until has to be demolished instantly

         In the next few days after the incident, Johore State Islamic Religious Department (JAJJ) advisor Datuk Noh Gadot urged the authorities to demolish the surau after the kiblat was declared wrong from its direction. Noh Gadot, added more, if there is any developer wants to build a mosque or surau, they need an approval first from the religious department to avoid the same mistake from happening again. However, this is going to be a big question, how this issue of wrong kiblat can be highlighted instead of other devotees' meditation ? Honestly I haven't found the answer yet and it can be tracked if we still follow the next reports. Everything happens for a reason and of course Noh Gadot has his own reason of saying like that. If we look it back, they still have to demolish the surau because the kiblat has already been wrong.
   

      By there, there were some pious men giving their statement either being defensive or deniable. Yesterday, the Star newspaper had reported about former Perlis mufti Datuk Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin's statement, who was calling to have a reconsider with the villagers before decision to demolish the surau, is officially taken.

        Asri, strictly disagreed that the surau has to be demolished instead of using it for other activities or purposes. As to strengthen his statement stronger, he noted that in the history of Islam since the days of Prophet Muhammad, many churches had been turned into mosques.

         "In Malaysia, just because a religious ritual of a different faith was conducted in a surau, it faces the risk of being demolished. We must change our mentality," he added more.

       Anyway, in a nutshell, religion is the first thing to be prioritized first before taking any actions. This is because religion is something related with our faith, which is used to decide our way of life. That's all and good night folks.
